Someone invited you to something
The link they sent you opens a Corkboard invitation. You can read it and RSVP from any browser. You don't need the app or an account.
What the link does
It opens a page with the invitation: the event, the date and time, the place, and a note from the host. Tap I'll be there, Maybe, or Can't make it. If the host allows plus-ones, say how many adults and kids are coming, and answer any questions the host asked.
What the host sees
Your name, your answer, your headcounts, and your answers to their questions. If you add your email, Corkboard keeps it with your reply so a second RSVP updates the first instead of counting you twice. The host doesn't see it in the app.
What other guests see
On the web, other guests see how many people are going, not who. Inside the app, the host decides whether guests can see the guest list.
Changing your answer
Open the same link and answer again. If you gave an email the first time, the new answer replaces the old one. If you didn't, ask the host to fix it.
Your privacy
The invitation page sets no cookies and runs no tracking. It loads a font from Google Fonts, which sees a normal web request from your browser. Corkboard stores your reply with the event so the host can plan. To have it removed, ask the host or email us. The privacy policy has the details.
Want the app?
Corkboard is in a private beta on iPhone. Ask the host to pass your name along, or request an invite. There may be a short wait. We bring in new groups in small batches.
