We built it for our own group first
Corkboard is made by two friends with young kids who live near each other. Our group ran on one long text thread and four shared albums, and nobody could find the sitter's number when they needed it.
We live a few streets from our closest friends and still went weeks without seeing them. Every plan needed a poll, a headcount, a reminder, and someone to add it to the calendar. We lost recommendations somewhere up the thread and kept birthday photos spread across three phones.
We made the app we wanted. It holds plans, photos, chats, recipes, lists, birthdays, and the sitter's number in one place, and only your group can see it. You pick which friends see your address, your kids' details, and your calendar.
What we're not doing
There's no public feed and there are no ads. We don't sell your information, and nobody outside your group can find you.
Where we are
We're still in a private beta, and only on iPhone. We bring groups in slowly so we can watch what breaks and fix it. If you'd like your group in, request an invite.
